The Gänstaller Kellerpils from the Gänstaller brewery is characterized by a symbiosis of two traditional beer styles. For this purpose, the advantages of a classic Pils, which is characterized by its fresh hoppy note, are combined with the more substantial style of the cellar beer. The result of the two styles is the unfiltered Gänstaller Kellerpils.

In a combination of these two beer styles, it is very important to balance the bitterness of the Pils and the full-bodied sweetness of a cellar beer in order to create an all-round tasty beer in the end. Of course, in line with the brewing tradition of both beer styles.

The Gänstaller brewery is facing this challenge with the result of the Gänstaller Kellerpils.

The Gänstaller Kellerpils appears as a deep orange in the glass. Due to the natural yeast and the fact that there is no filtration during the brewing process, it is also very cloudy. At the first smell, the typical scent of the Tettnager hops stings your nose, which is characterized by its high bitterness and light earthy note. The body of the Gänstaller Kellerpils skilfully reflects the combination of the two beer styles. First, it impresses with light fresh citrus notes that are typical of pilgrims. These aromas are then replaced by the full-bodied, sweet malt notes, this is where the cellar beer shows itself. In the end, however, the bitterness of the hops clearly sets in, which in the Gänstaller Kellerpils adds up to an impressive 40 IBU and skilfully rounds off the beer and finishes it off.

By the way, the Gänstaller Kellerpils is offered by the Gänstaller brewery as the ideal beer for relaxation after a visit to the mother-in-law :)
