The original from Schlossbräu is a full-bodied beer specialty with a tasty 5.3% alcohol content and a malty character. In the glass, the light beer is presented in a glowing gold tone. A stately crown of stable, airy foam sits enthroned on the glossy body. Rich gold and snow-white foam create a wonderful contrast, which together with the tempting scent makes you want to take the first sip. The fine nose perceives aromas of tangy lemon zest, sweet tangerine peel and subtle spices. The initial taste is citrus-fresh and tingly sparkles on the tongue with lively carbon dioxide. After the feather-light, fruity-sweet beginning, the malt comes into play and flatters the palate with a cornucopia of aromatic taste nuances, which range from soft caramel to roasted grain to creamy honey.
