“Be a DECIDER. Taste the Change.” That is the motto of the Bavarian cider maker Andrea from DECIDER. The enthusiastic cider drinker got to know and love the apple wine-like drink in England.
Necessity is the mother of invention
Many ingenious inventions and the founding of some companies that are indispensable today can be traced back to grievances. This is also what happened at DECIDER. After Andrea fell head over heels in love with cider, a drink that is very popular in England, she was very disappointed to discover that there was no really good cider to buy in Germany. Even in pubs and bars, cider was a rare guest and when it was available, it usually didn't taste at all like Andrea wanted. Giving up cider forever - or at least until her next trip to England - was not an option, so Andrea quickly founded her own cider label and has been producing her own personal version of the drink ever since. She describes her cider as a refreshing drink that tastes somewhere in the middle between sweet British cider and very sour German apple wine.
A drink for world changers
The meaningful name is made up of the word cider and the English term for decision. DECIDER are people who decide. According to Andrea's philosophy, behind every taste (experience) there is a decision, a conscious act of a decider. To emphasize this statement, Andrea uses part of the profits generated to support hand-picked social projects that stand out through their unique message. With DECIDER, deciders are not only choosing to enjoy delicious cider, but also to do something good. The production of DECIDER also fits into the concept: the cider is produced in Germany under sustainable conditions and, unlike many competing products, contains no sugar or artificial additives. Andrea attaches great importance to transparent production and selects only the best ingredients for her DECIDER. You can literally taste Andrea's passion and enthusiasm for her favorite drink!
DECIDER is represented in the Bierothek range with the two varieties Lazy Lola and Pretty Pandora. All three are sparkling and fresh and so delicious that we can hardly decide. Fortunately, thanks to the extremely low calorie content, this doesn't have to be the case. With 4.5% to 5% alcohol content, however, you shouldn't try them all at once!
