Following the principle of unreason, the two founders of the project of the same name, Home of Unvernunft, plunged back into the beer business after a failure and enriched the beer market with a surprising creation: ginger beer. Beer with ginger? That sounds a bit strange at first, but it isn't. Ingwer Narrisch is the name of the tasty brew, which is unrivaled as a spicy beer mix.
A tasty beer with a ginger kick - that's what Alex from Munich wanted to bring out a few years ago. His idea was initially met with incomprehension and the first creation didn't make it into the bottle, let alone into a customer's glass. It wasn't until soccer teammate Siggi came into play that the ball started rolling. Siggi turned out to be the perfect sparring partner: he comes from a brewery dynasty and knows the business. Thanks to his well-founded opinion that the ginger thing should be done again, Alex took on the ginger beer project again. With renewed courage, the juicer was turned on and the new recipe was developed.
As the name Ingwer Narrisch already suggests, Alex and Siggi's new recipe contains a lot of ginger. And you can taste it too. The Märzen beer is not accompanied by gentle ginger tones, rather the ginger hits the taste buds full-bodied and sharply first, before a gentle beer note cushions the impact. Light citrus notes make the beer a pure summer pleasure. A lot of work has gone into Ingwer Narrisch: from the bumpy history of its creation, the search for a ginger syrup producer, the label design and bottling in the brewery. Work that was worth it. All that's left to say is "cheers" - and be careful: it's spicy, man!
