Pfister Brau Kultur

If you drive through the picturesque villages of Franconia, you will see countless beautiful houses. Half-timbering stretches across the picturesque facades, lushly planted flower boxes with bright geraniums and other summer flowers adorn the window sills, brightly painted wooden shutters are a lovely splash of color, and lovingly designed gardens and courtyards surround the entire splendor. It is no different in Weigelshofen in Franconia. One of the enchanting houses in the village belongs to the Pfister family, who share their domestic happiness with their visitors. Elisabeth and her husband Stefan, as hostess and expert in Franconian cuisine and master brewer and beer sommelier, cover the entire spectrum of local culture of enjoyment and welcome guests to their idyllic country.Quartier with brew.Inn. With them, you can experience an authentic piece of lived hospitality and be pampered with hearty delicacies and matching beer.

Stefan and Elisabeth — An unbeatable team

Stefan Pfister is the man behind the brewing kettles. As a trained master brewer and qualified beer sommelier, he is a true expert in beer and knows his craft. In his eyes, the Franconian brewing tradition is a cultural asset worth protecting that should be lived and enjoyed. The enthusiastic beer connoisseur lets his passion for barley juice flow into his work and brews beer that touches the soul with its taste and character. Beer is the epitome of Franconian joie de vivre and Stefan's favorite way to end a day full of appointments, dates, obligations and tasks. His counterpart is his wife Elisabeth, who prepares dishes to accompany the brewing. Her hobbyhorse is the down-to-earth cuisine of Franconia, which she interprets in a traditional, modern and timeless way. In their brewery inn, the two receive visitors and pamper their guests with their art.

Beer with a clear conscience

When it comes to beer, the Pfister family's top priority is quality and taste. They produce masterful brews in small batches that delight with their aroma and ideas. Because their homeland is also close to their hearts, the brewery has largely converted its operations to organic. Most of their beers use only Bioland-certified raw materials from controlled organic farming. Hops and grain are grown sustainably and without genetic engineering or artificial fertilizers. The Pfister brewery's range is a tasty mix of Franconian classics that Stefan has taken up and given a modern interpretation. Even if you don't notice it in the brewery's young, fresh concept, it has been around for more than 170 years. The Pfister family lives with its finger on the pulse of the times and has made the leap into the present with flying colors.
