In Schönram, the world is still in order. Here, values such as quality and regionality are still held in high esteem, the family is the most important authority and neighbors still greet each other. And the Köllerer/Oberlindober family has contributed a great deal to this idyll.
The success story of the Schönramer brewery began more than 230 years ago. The farmer Franz Jacob Köllerer acquired the property and brewery in 1780, putting an end to the long-standing changes of ownership. Years before that, Schönram residents were allowed to brew beer. In Schönram there is a brewing tradition that goes back far more than 230 years. The Köllerer family, who became the Oberlindober family through marriage, have held the brewing rights since 1780 and have lived up to this privilege ever since with their fine beers such as the Schönramer Pils. In addition to the beer, the Oberlindobers also value their employees. An anecdote from days gone by testifies to the family's big heart: Anton Köllerer, ancestor of today's Oberlindobers and former brewery boss, enabled his employees to do their work and still receive God's blessing on Sundays by donating a church to them. The brewery's own church ensured that the workers did not have to drive to the next town to attend the service. This saved them the driving and also ensured that they could start their shifts on Sundays. If the prophet does not come to the mountain, the mountain must come to the prophet!
Quality knows no compromises. This is the motto that the Oberlindobers have been brewing with from the very beginning. Their high standards for their product and their striving for the highest quality have already brought the Schönramer brewery numerous awards. No wonder, after all, the Oberlindobers only use the finest ingredients for creations such as the Bavarian Pale Ale or the popular Pils . Bavarian malt in the good company of Hallertau and Tettnang hops produce an excellent beer in traditional, artisanal production. The Oberlindobers manage the balancing act between tradition and state-of-the-art technology with flying colors. The brewing process is a well-thought-out combination of centuries of experience with the findings of the latest brewing research. In addition, the Schönramer brewers are involved with heart and hand in every single step and ensure that the raw materials are processed as gently as possible. In order to keep the end product natural and lively, the beer is neither heated nor pasteurized.
Delicious beers with a wide variety of flavors are the reward for their efforts.
