True Brew is the newest star in the craft beer sky and the passion project of three friends who have known each other since childhood. Andi, Lucas and Louis have made their dream of their own beer come true and have enriched the craft beer market with some dynamic examples.
If there is one city in Bavaria that you associate with beer, it is Munich. The home of the Hofbräuhaus has already produced countless breweries and is considered a tough place for young, inexperienced brewers. The Bavarians are also a difficult audience because they have access to a wide range of excellent traditional beers. Many a craft brewery has already bitten off more than they can chew. Not so the guys from True Brew. With verve and great enthusiasm, the three childhood friends founded their own label. True Brew stands for the love of great beer, true friendship and adventure. In order to infect others with their passion for beer, the three venture into untouched territory and push the boundaries of the ordinary. With good humor and utmost care, the three take every single step in beer production and take care not only of the selection of hand-picked raw materials and brewing, but also of the constant development of new recipes and designs. In addition to their own label, the guys also founded a taproom, where they serve their own beer alongside a changing selection of craft beers from other brewers. In the heart of Munich, Andi, Lucas and Louis have created a meeting point for hipsters, beer lovers and gourmets. There you can sip a beer on comfortable vintage sofas in a stylish atmosphere under the light of countless light bulbs.
True Brew got off to a real rocket start and was named Bavaria's best new brewery of 2020 by the beer rating portal Ratebeer shortly after its founding. The award-winning beers come in colorful, modern cans and have contemporary names like " Highscore Heroes " or " Wirtshaus Memories ". All of them are hand-brewed and some were created in collaboration with other craft breweries. Collaboration and mutual support in the Bavarian craft beer scene is a matter close to the hearts of the Truw Brew crew. At the headquarters of long-established traditional breweries, they provide new momentum, a breath of fresh air and regular tap takeovers in their pub. In the past, True Brew has already worked together with the brewers of Yankee & Kraut and Schwarze Rose Craft Beer — we are excited to see which brewery the guys will bring on board next!
