For connoisseurs of the local craft beer scene, the Bierothek® is now a household name, even though the company has only been operating on the market for just over three years. The Bamberg company stands for a wide selection of exciting craft beers from home and abroad, which are marketed primarily online and through its own chain of stores with a high level of advisory expertise. Founder and managing director Christian Klemenz sees great potential in multiplying the successful retail model, and that is why the busy young entrepreneur continues to set a high pace when it comes to expanding the branch network.

At the same time, the Bierothek® is expanding its range of offerings to include another promising business area with its newly structured wholesale channel. With a range of now over 200 different specialty beers, the majority of which are hand-brewed and from independent breweries at home and abroad, the craft beer specialists at the Bierothek® offer interested restaurateurs and specialist retailers nationwide a diverse and competent range One-stop selection. And since the craft beer movement continually brings new beer creations onto the market, the Bierothek® range is of course constantly changing and, in addition to the fixed core range, there are also regularly changing specials.

The range also includes some international craft beer brands that the Bierothek® markets exclusively in Germany as a general importer and which can therefore only be purchased through them, such as “Coedo” from Japan, “Espiga” from Spain, “Karma” from Italy, “Lehe” from Estonia, “Raven” from the Czech Republic, “SakiÅ¡ki” from Lithuania, “Septem” from Greece or “Weyerbacher” from Pennsylvania the USA. In addition, the Bierothek® has also made wholesale distribution agreements with domestic breweries and the circle of partner brands already includes well-known brands such as Rittmayer, Schorschbräu, Gänstaller, Binkert and VETO.

Christian Klemenz, who is also a trained beer sommelier, emphasizes: “We don't see ourselves as just a beer supplier. Thanks to our daily experience in our own stores, we can also provide our wholesale customers with the best advice regarding product ranges, pricing or marketing. We are also happy to pass on our beer knowledge to our customers' employees in training courses." And he continues: "Logistically, we have the invaluable advantage that we can contact our customers both via our central warehouse in Bamberg and directly through our currently nine branches, even in small quantities. Our uniform ramp prices apply to both options, as does the return of empties. But of course we also deliver to our customers throughout Germany if desired.“
