The Wegseidla is a Franconian phenomenon: if you make your way to the pub in Franconia in the evening, go home from there, visit friends, go for a late walk or otherwise get from A to B in some other way, you take a beer with you. This measure prevents potential beer thirst, serves as entertainment on the go and ensures that one enjoys getting from one place to the next. There are some types of beer that are suitable for enjoying on the go, our favorite among them is a beer that was even named after it: The Wegseidla from Aufsesser is the ideal beer for the road and not just because it is called that.
Now, however, there are occasions where the previous enjoyment of a full beer is not beneficial. When you go to an appointment, when your mother-in-law is invited for coffee or when you have soccer training in the evening. For precisely these and many other situations, the Aufsesser brewery has therefore come up with the shandy version of its trail sign. The tasty refreshment is half Wegseidla and half lemonade and, with an alcohol content of 2.4%, only has a very small impact. The shandy gets by without any artificial additives or preservatives and inspires with a fine combination of bitter beer and sparkling lemonade.
