A winning beer!
The Celebrator from the Ayinger private brewery is a trophy hunter: The Doppelbock has already won countless national and international awards and continues to impress the jurors of renowned competitions.
This doesn’t surprise us at all, because the strong dessert beer is a real flavor bomb. The bock beer is deeply dark and highly aromatic and appeals with its great color and heavenly scent.
The Celebrator flows into the glass in an opaque mahogany tone and shimmers magnificently in all facets of ruby red. A firm, hazelnut-brown foam crowns the beer. A wonderful scent of roasted hazelnuts, creamy caramel and spicy cedar wood rises from the stately foam head. On the tongue the bock is velvety soft and full-bodied. Fine aromas of roasted coffee beans, spicy yeast, dark cocoa and dried fruits build on a creamy malt base. A touch of oven-fresh bread crust and a subtle herbal note round off the aromas. The subtle sweetness is balanced by a roasted bitterness in the finish.
The Celebrator is an excellent dessert beer and is so delicious that it could also serve as a dessert on its own.
