Uncle Sam is the symbol of the United States. The symbol emerged in the 19th century and has been used to personify American government ever since. Uncle Sam is also a patriotic allegory and was used by the military, among other things, to recruit new soldiers. Although the exact origin of the symbol is unknown, it can be seen on every corner in the United States.
Master brewers Justus Heinz and Tobias Bargenda chose Uncle Sam as the name for their latest creation. The duo had the honor of creating the 50th Braumeister edition of the Camba brewery and decided on an American Pilsner for this grandiose occasion. This American-inspired version of the Czech classic is brewed with aroma hops from America and double dry-hopped. The result is a delightfully smooth Pilsner that combines traditional bitterness and tartness with a tropical fruitiness. The enjoyment of beer is really rounded off with a real American meal. We recommend burgers, grilled treats, hot dogs, fried chicken or something spicy Mexican. Everything just tastes better with Uncle Sam!
As always, the Braumeister Edition is strictly limited and only brewed once. If you would like to try the American Pilsner, it is better to grab it quickly!
