Every brewery has a beer they are particularly proud of. Refined to perfection throughout brewing history, this brewing piece was honed by a team of master brewers until they found it irresistible. This beer is the flagship of their craftsmanship and the drop they prefer to drink themselves. At the Hösl Bräu from Mitterteich, this special creation is their Pilsner. Due to its sophistication and the successful interplay of selected grains, the purest brewing water from the Steinwald region and noble aromatic hops, the brew bears the name Edelpilsener and more than lives up to this title.
The beer specialty presents itself in the color of liquid gold in the glass and is crowned with a crown of firm, snow-white foam. A heavenly scent of floral hops, freshly mown grass and sun-ripened grain rises from the densely pored splendor. The initial sip reveals a slim body with a straightforward character and pleasant carbonation. The olfactory first impression continues on the tongue and delivers a successful interplay of fruity notes, grass, herbs, soft malt and floral components. An elegant bitterness underlines the play of aromas and remains on the tongue for a long time after the last sip.
If you’re looking for an uncompromisingly good, no-frills Pilsner, you’ve come to the right place!
