BIPA, TIPA, DIPA – The world of beer is becoming increasingly complex, but also tastier!
A DIPA differs from conventional IPA primarily in its higher alcohol content. It is just as hoppy as its little brother and tastes accordingly. Another difference is the higher malt content, which ensures more alcohol and a roasty taste.
Emelisse's DIPA is double hopped, which gives the beer a super fruity scent. Three types of hops create this bouquet and a fruity, fresh citrus aroma. When poured, fruity notes of grapefruit, orange, ripe peach and pine emerge from the fine, beige foam. When drunk, nice bitter notes accompany the fruit. Roasted caramel notes round off the complex aromatics and make Emelisse's DIPA a true IPA delight.
Thanks to its light to medium body and elegant mix of bitter and fruit, DIPA goes wonderfully with cheese dishes. DIPA from the Netherlands is the perfect accompaniment to French onion soup with cheese topping, mac 'n cheese and a cheese platter with fresh fruit. DIPA is the ideal beer for all IPA drinkers who like to have a little variety in their glass and want to surprise their palate with new flavors.
