The Psycho Pilsner from the Lisbon-based brewery Musa is actually quite sweet - until the full hop hits you!
If there's one thing the Musa team loves, it's hops. They have proven their expertise and masterful handling of the raw material of our dreams many times and brought hop-tastic beers onto the market. Psyche Pilsner is another prime example of the clever use of hops. The Pilsner flows into the glass in a cloudy light gold and forms a stable, shapely head of foam. The hop intensity can already be sensed when pouring: fine scents of floral, green hops and delicate tropical fruit tickle the olfactory senses. The first sip is a hit. Balanced hop notes play with the taste buds, just a tiny hint of malt accompanies the hop concert. The bitterness of the hops starts slowly and comes into its own as the drink progresses. The finish of Psycho Pilsner is pleasantly hoppy, soft and lingers on the tongue for a long time.
Musas Psycho Pilsner is a must for all hopheads out there and highly recommended for anyone who wants to treat their hop-loving palate to a delicately composed delicacy!
