Estrella Damm is one of the old hands in the international beer market and is known to anyone who likes beer or at least football. The Barcelona-based brewery has been the main sponsor of major sporting events on numerous occasions and is a regular guest in commercial breaks on international TV channels. Estrella Damm is an institution in the international beer market and, despite all its success, still places great importance on protecting and preserving its Mediterranean homeland.
From star to star
Damm was founded in 1876 and began to market Strasbourg beer with the symbol of a star. Within 45 years, this star developed from a simple symbol into a meaningful brand ("Golden Star"). Shortly before the start of the Second World War, the brewery already had 615 employees. Despite the strong growth, several subsidiaries were set up, which were based in six different locations. This enabled Damm to expand further. In 1954, the time had finally come: Damm began to export the first beers to the USA. They started TV campaigns and also focused on sponsorship in sports. They sponsored no less than the 1982 World Cup and the Barcelona Olympics a decade later. Top clubs such as FC Barcelona can also look forward to a contract with the brewery.
It's not just athletes who love the good beer that comes from Damm. Beers like Daura Damm , which is even gluten-free, are also enjoyed by beer lovers who have never run a marathon or scored a lot of goals.
Influencer
Damm is a well-organized, large company that nevertheless places great value on humanity. Employees, customers, investors and company stakeholders are always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. The goal of being Spain's leading group of companies in the beverage industry is achieved through sustainable and profitable company growth. Despite all its success, it is still important to the Spanish company to protect its homeland and its environment. With projects and advertising campaigns, Damm draws attention to the beauty and need for protection of our nature. Whether Spain, Italy, Greece or Turkey - the Mediterranean region is a unique habitat that must be preserved at all costs. Clear water, white sandy beaches, rugged cliffs with seabirds and a lively variety of species in the sea are not just something we like, but should also bring joy to our children and grandchildren.
Cheers to our nature and dams that have made it their mission to protect it!
