SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

How much does shipping cost and how are the packages sent?

The regular shipping costs within Germany are €7.90. Shipping costs are waived for purchases over €79. International shipping costs vary depending on the country.

Can I return products?

You can exercise your right of cancellation. The items complained about must be returned in the same condition as the customer found them upon receipt. If you have any questions about the cancellation, our customer service will be happy to help.

What happens after I place my order?

After you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. As soon as we receive your order, our employees will pick your order, pack it securely and ship it - this can take up to 2 days. As soon as your package has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. For national shipping, your package will be delivered to you by DHL within 1-3 working days.

Can I track the status of my delivery?

As soon as your package has been shipped, you will receive a tracking code in your shipping confirmation email that you can use to track your package. For goods that are only sent by letter (voucher), tracking is not possible.

How can I subscribe to the newsletter?

If you would like to sign up for the Bierothek® newsletter, all you have to do is scroll down a bit and click on "Subscribe to newsletter" in the orange area next to "HOP ON BOARD". Once you have completed the other steps, you will receive the Bierothek® newsletter at regular intervals.

I signed up for the newsletter but I don't receive it?

To do this, please check the correct spelling of your email address and the spam folder of your email account. If you are still unable to receive our newsletter, please contact our customer service.

best-before date

Can I still safely drink beer after the printed best-before date has passed?

Beer is a very stable food and beverage. We recommend that you simply open beer that has passed its best-before date, smell it and take a small sip.

 

Dark and high-alcohol beers can often be drunk months and even years after the best-before date with a clear conscience. One example of this is the strongest beer in the world: Schorschbock from Schorschbräu with 57% alcohol by volume. This can still be enjoyed years after the best-before date has passed.

 

Dark and strong beers often continue to mature and thus develop a very special aroma. Many beer connoisseurs deliberately buy these beers in order to store them in a cool, dark place and thus refine them.

 

In general, light beers (e.g. Pils) develop off-flavors more quickly than dark beers (e.g. Stout).

 

The following smells or tastes are often perceived as off-flavors:

I am a new customer. How can I order from the online shop?

As a new customer, you can create a customer account for our online shop in no time. After registering, we will send you a confirmation email to verify your data. Once these steps have been completed, you can place an order.

How can I log in?

As soon as you have an existing customer account with us, you can log in at www.bierothek.de. You will find the login button in the upper part of the image on the right-hand side.

I would like to register as a new customer, but I receive a message saying that my email address is already in use.

Your email address may already be in use. Only one Bierothek® account is permitted per email address. Please check the spelling of your email address again.

 

To change the email address you use to log in to Bierothek®:

 

1. Go to bierothek.de and select the menu item: Profile

 

2. In the Email address field, enter the email address you want to use

 

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save

 

If the problem persists, please contact our customer service.

I have forgotten my password and can no longer log into my customer account?

If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot password?" button on the access page of your Bierothek® account. Enter the email address you use for the Bierothek® online shop. You will then be sent a link that you can use to reset your password.

I clicked "Forgot password?" but didn't receive an email.

In this case, please check your email address again. If you have not received an email after several attempts, please check the spam folder of your email account.

Validity period/transferability of vouchers

Where and how can I redeem my voucher?

Vouchers can generally be redeemed in the online shop at bierothek.de. To do this, select the shopping cart button where your items ready to order are located. Below the order view, in the lower left section of this page, you will find the field "Receive voucher code?", in which you can enter your 16-digit voucher code. The value of your voucher will now be credited to you and the order can be completed after the delivery details have been completed.

Will the voucher be reactivated if I return the entire order in which I used it?

As soon as you return your order, your voucher code will be automatically reactivated. If you have any questions or problems, please contact our customer service.

Why can't I redeem my voucher code?

If you are unable to redeem your voucher code, please contact us directly. We will check the voucher code and offer you a suitable solution.

Is payment via the website secure?

We take the protection of your personal data extremely seriously, which is why we use various encryption systems that make the payment process secure. Bierothek® GmbH ensures that your data is only used for the purpose you requested. When you pay in the Bierothek® online shop, your web browser connects to the website via SSL ("Secure Sockets Layer"). SSL is an industry-standard protocol for encrypting payment information over the Internet.

How do I add an item to my shopping cart?

To do so, simply click the button: “Add to cart”.

How do I know if the item I want to buy is in stock?

You can find out whether your desired item is available in our online shop on the respective product page. You can also check whether your desired product is in stock in one of our stores. Please feel free to contact us for further information.

Can you notify me when this product is available again?

If an item is no longer in stock, the field "WHEN WILL THIS BEER BE AVAILABLE AGAIN" will appear on the product's detail page. You can enter your email address here and you will immediately receive an email notification as soon as the beer is back in stock and available for you to order.

When can I order?

You can place an order in our online shop any day and at any time. Please note, however, that orders are only dispatched and processed from Monday to Friday. No enquiries or orders are processed on public holidays. This may result in delays.

Can I change or cancel an order after I have placed it?

Cancellations are possible. Please note that subsequent changes are not possible.

Can I have my items delivered to a different address?

Sending items to a different address is generally not a problem. You can already store various delivery addresses in your user account, which you can select during the ordering process. However, it is recommended that you coordinate each order in advance according to the delivery address.

Is there a minimum order value?

There is no minimum order value in our online shop. However, for purchases over €79, shipping costs are waived (only applies to national packages).

Why did my order fail?

If your order fails, please check the following aspects:

 

- Have all mandatory fields been completely filled out?

- Are the payment details correct when ordering?

How can I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us by phone at +49-951-3017-8389. Our friendly staff will process your order.

What happens if the item I ordered is out of stock?

Items that are currently unavailable cannot be ordered. If you have any questions about the availability of a specific item, just contact us. Our staff will check availability.

 

Please note that some products are only available seasonally and therefore cannot be ordered all year round.

Can I add one or more items to my order later?

No. As soon as the order has been entered into our system, it will be processed by our staff.

Where can I find my order number?

You will find your order number on the printed invoice upon delivery as well as in the attachment of the confirmation email after purchase.
