This bock beer is truly unique: it is brewed only once a year and then stored for twelve weeks in the rock cellar of the Faust brewery in Miltenberg before it is sold. A beer specialty that is more than worth the long wait!
The Brauhaus Faust in Miltenberg has now existed for 350 years. Over the years, we have not only accumulated excellent recipes, but also a lot of experience, which is repeatedly rewarded with prestigious awards. Faust’s vintage Bock is a prime example of expertise and a special brew that only uses natural raw materials. This fact means that each vintage of the vintage Bock is unique and develops unique taste facets. To further boost the taste, the bottles are stored in the Faust Schatzkapelle deep beneath the brewery. Here the beer matures for three months and develops its intense character.
The vintage Bock flows into the glass in a clear reddish brown and exudes the wonderful aromas of dried plums, dark chocolate, marzipan and sherry from its slightly browned foam head. The promising scent is also reflected in the taste: the vintage bock is a full-bodied composition of malty-caramel tones, which comes from the use of dark malts. The roasted malt aroma is accompanied by fruity notes of dark autumn fruit and a hint of licorice. A touch of chocolate and freshly roasted coffee round off the taste experience.
The vintage Bock from Brauhaus Faust is a sophisticated beer creation with a variety of flavor levels - perfect for festive occasions!
