A particularly mild beer specialty in the broad range of the Faust brewery is the Bayrisch Hell. The brewers affectionately call their work “typical Bavarian character beer” and we can only agree with this description: light-footed, delicately balanced and wonderfully refreshing, the light beer delights and is exceptionally drinkable.
The Bayrisch Hell from Faust has a pleasant 4.8% alcohol content and flows into the glass the color of liquid gold. The brilliant beer is crowned with a generous amount of airy, white foam and exudes an enticing scent of floral hops, sweet malt and freshly mown grass. The initial taste reveals the loose, light body with gentle carbonic acid and a range of mild flavor nuances. Notes of soft malt, light roasted grains, creamy honey and freshly baked cookies caress the palate. A hint of citrus, a floral note and a hint of green herbs represent the hops. A subtly sweet fruitiness complements the play of aromas. The Bayrisch Hell impresses with a great balance of hops and malt: sweetness, bitterness, fruit and malt merge into a drinkable, calm beer. The finish is beautifully bitter and at the same time delights with herbal and cookie notes. The aftertaste is wonderfully dry and makes you want the next bottle.
Bayrisch Hell from Brauhaus Faust is a fabulously down-to-earth pale with fine aromas and high drinkability. The beer tastes particularly good with homemade nut wedges or crispy chicken from the oven.
