With their Jager Weisse, the brewers at Camba Bavaria have combined tradition with a good dose of modernity. The wheat, brewed according to a traditional recipe, is made with barley and wheat malt as well as Bavarian hop varieties. In order to give the classic a modern twist, American aroma hops were used in addition to the Bavarian varieties. The brewers bring out a maximum of fine hop nuances through the dry hopping process: using the dry hopping technique, an extra load of green gold is "stuffed" into the finished beer. This process gives the beer its special fruitiness.
The extraordinary wheat beer presents itself in strong amber gold in the glass and carries a stable crown of fine-pored foam on the yeast-clouded body. A refreshing nose of citrus rises and tickles the olfactory nerves with grapefruit, tangerine and green hops. The initial sip reveals a harmonious beer with a velvety mouthfeel and a character that Camba’s charming beer sommelier Karin poetically describes as "full-bodied and delicate at the same time". You couldn’t put it more aptly! The Jager Weisse is a down-to-earth wheat with an exotic flair and a juicy fruitiness that is second to none. You can’t get enough of this tasty beer and we advise you to order a few more bottles right away.
Just the right thing for an acute thirst for beer!
