Camba Bavarias Dirty Blonde is not a wheat beer, but a wheat beer. This traditional style of beer is a top-fermented specialty that is mainly drunk in Cologne. It is assumed that the Wieß is the original form of the Kölsch. In brewery master edition number 39, the brewer Daniel Martin dedicates himself to this largely forgotten beer style and gives it his very own touch.
Daniels Dirty Blonde inspires with a wonderfully refreshing character. In the slim body, hops and malt find a nice balance, the pointed bitterness skilfully rounds off the taste experience. The Select and Hersbrucker hops are juxtaposed with four types of malt, and the result is extremely convincing.
The 39th Braumeisteredition cuts a fine figure in the glass with its naturally cloudy amber tone. A hand’s breadth of white, airy foam sits enthroned on the deep golden body, which smells tempting of freshly baked yeast plait, light malt and ripe banana. The fabulous taste continues the enjoyment without gaps and inspires with a soft malt base, strong yeast notes, fine spice and creamy banana. The hops go with delicate grassy notes, woody herbs and a delicately flavored bitterness and also provide a fresh hint of citrus fruit.
Camba Bavarias Dirty Blonde is a light-footed beer pleasure with aromatic depth, great spiciness and a round taste that makes you want more.
