In Bavaria they say "Three beers are also a schnitzel" and thus points out in a humorous way that everyone’s favorite drink is not a light snack for in between. The calorie content of the beer is mainly due to the alcohol, which is why stronger brews also account for more. Despite its energy content, however, beer does not satisfy hunger. Instead, you feel an appetite for hearty food and maybe order an actual schnitzel in addition to the liquid schnitzel. In general, that’s not a bad thing, but if you feel thirsty for beer every day, then it can be something lighter every now and then.
It is precisely for these moments that the Hösl Bräu has come up with a slimmer version of their wheat beer Resi. The light wheat beer brings a delicate 2.5% alcohol content to the table and delivers the full taste despite reduced brewing.
The feather-light Resi presents itself in a densely cloudy grain gold in the glass and adorns itself with a stable head of foam. The scent of freshly baked banana bread with lemon zest fills the air and whets the appetite for the first sip. The first sip reveals a thoroughly classic wheat beer with a sparkling character, fruity freshness and a creamy texture. The most delicious wheat treat with lower alcohol content and fewer calories - perfect for after work or a Sunday morning pint!
