Schorschbock 57% - The strongest beer in the world.
The Schorschbock 57 is a full-bodied beer that currently holds the record for the strongest beer in the world with 57% vol. The title is hard-fought and has often changed hands in recent years. The Schorschbräu, the brewery from which the Schorschbock comes, fought an alcohol-heavy battle with the Scotsman Brewdog. In a lively exchange of blows, both breweries alternately launched full-bodied beers, which handed each other a hand in the world rankings. The Schorschbock 57 ended this fight for the time being and has since reigned at the top of the strongest beers in the world.
Anyone who thinks that a drink with more than ten times the alcohol content of a conventional beer is not a beer in the conventional sense is mistaken. When brewing the Schorschbock, the Schorschbräu strictly adheres to the specifications of the Bavarian Purity Law. Therefore, the current 57% vol. is also the absolute upper limit in terms of alcohol content. More is not possible. At least not if you want to keep the drink as pure beer and not as a mixed beer drink with added schnapps. Beer is the goal, so there will be nothing stronger than the Schorschbock 57. That’s enough for us, because even the most passionate beer drinker can’t easily clean away more than one of the limited mini bottles.
We recommend the Schorschbock 57 Mini as an ideal gift for beer lovers, as a small gift for the next barbecue or as a collector’s item for the
