The Böckla from Drei Kronen is a real culinary delight. The Memmelsdorf brewery produces this fine wine year after year in spring, delighting family, friends and fans alike. Their light Maibock shines with a strong 6.2% alcohol content, which has been cleverly integrated into a variety of flavors. Notes of soft honey sweetness, dried fruit, oven-fresh rye bread, herbs and caramelized nuts combine to create a beery millefeuille that makes dancing into May even more enjoyable. You can enjoy this multi-layered brew without any accompaniment, but it is also a wonderful addition to hearty dishes. And because roasts etc. are best cooked for more than two people, we recommend that you make a dinner party out of it and simply buy the handy 5l barrel instead of the Böckla in bottles.
This is accompanied by a menu that begins the fun with a strong French onion soup with a cheese topping and homemade walnut-bacon bread. We continue with a seared steak with carrots tossed in butter and sage, crispy potato wedges from the oven and a colorful salad. We would end the evening with a chocolatey dessert such as a tart, a brownie with vanilla ice cream and nuts or a single praline.
Whether with or without a menu - the Böckla is so good that you can't have enough of it!
