Every brewery has a beer that is particularly popular. A creation that they did so well that someone is always asking for it and they never run out of supplies. This brew is flowing, selling like hot cakes, and delighting both long-established regulars and guests tasting it for the first time. A real hit.
At Drei Kronen, Lotte holds this golden position. The “Franconian Helle”, affectionately called by its makers, hits the mark with its tasty balance and fine spice and bewitches friends and strangers alike.
The wonderful light flows out of the bottle in shimmering gold and is reflected in the glass with a fine yeast haze. A crown of snow-white foam sits enthroned on the beer and enticingly smells of sunny grain and fruity hops. The drinking pleasure begins with a fresh drink. Rich notes of freshly mown grass and floral hops are the beginning, followed by herbs, yeast dough, gently roasted malt and candied fruit. Lotte is so good that some of her fans have asked for bottling. The Drei Kronen brewery was happy to comply with this request and has since sold its Lotte not only in bottles , but also in the gourmet size with an incredible five liter capacity.
