There is a story behind this beer that not only proves master brewer Uli’s dexterity, it also testifies to her big heart.
The origin and patrons of this beer are two best friends. One of them is a brewer, the other earns his bread and butter with sales. At some point they came up with the idea of having a beer together. As a brewer and salesman, the chances were good that the project would be a success and the two got started without further ado. They rented a brewery and brewed the first brew. That’s when the problems started: The brewer was tired of the constant cleaning and his friend didn’t want to sell their joint brew in addition to his day job as a salesman. Worse still, however, was the fact that nobody really liked the beer. And the second attempt also failed. The beer didn’t taste good and the brewery, which rented its free capacity to our duo, didn’t want to play any more either. Because no money came in and nobody felt like cleaning, the friends were summarily thrown out the door.
Fortunately, Uli from the Schneeeule brewery plucked up courage and took on both friends’ beers. With magical skill, the two stouts combined into a fine beer that is quite strong and crisply bitter.
