The traditional Knoblach brewery has brought another classic onto the market with its unspun lager. Brewed strictly in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law and only with the best Franconian ingredients, this lager is a real beer specialty and tastes great in the beer cellar, and not just in imperial weather!
The cellar beer pours into the glass in a light amber tone and forms a cream-colored head of foam that lasts for a long time and exudes a wonderful scent. A warm malt aroma mixes on the nose with spicy bread notes that make you think of brioche and bread dough. This earthy blend is accompanied by a sweet hint of honey and grassy hop notes. The first sip reveals the subtly composed flavors of the lager: subtly sweet toffee and malt notes meet floral-herbal hop tones. A gentle bitterness accompanies the play of aromas, the slight carbonation underlines the taste.
The lager from the Knoblach brewery, with its fine hop notes, is an ideal summer beer that tastes just as good with a Franconian snack as it does with grilled food.
One of our favorite cellar beers!
