Neuhaus an der Pegnitz has a lot to offer, but unfortunately it cannot serve with palm-fringed beaches, crystal-clear sea water, tropical flora, active volcanoes and fantastic surf spots. In order to bring a touch of exotic flair to their homeland, the local Veldenstein brewery has come up with a beer that is like a short trip.
Their Hawaiian Style Pale Ale is a limited special edition created by the beer workshop. In this department of the brewery, the team lets off steam to their hearts' content and brews exceptional beer specialties far away from the core range. They breathe new life into historical recipes, experiment with unconventional raw materials and brew beer that differs from their otherwise very down-to-earth style. With their Hawaiian Style Pale Ale, they wanted to combine the loose, flaky lifestyle of the island state with the requirements of the Bavarian Purity Law and have created a wonderfully drinkable pale ale with holiday flair.
The relaxed brew presents itself in a warm golden honey color in the glass and is decorated with a dense-pored head of foam. Dry hopping with a select selection of intensely aromatic hops gives the beer a tropical note that extends from the scent into the taste. Juicy hints of passion fruit, pineapple, mango and peach spread across the palate and transport us to the island paradise of Hawaii for a few delicious moments.
