Because we can only dream of sunny beaches with palm trees, crystal clear water and white sand, the latest creation from Kona is just right: The tropical Hibiscus Brut IPA from Hawaii transports you directly to paradise and provides exotic fruit and sweet magic of hibiscus for that holiday feeling.
Kona’s Hibiscus Brut IPA is part of the Aloha series and contains real hibiscus flowers as well as a powerful 8.2% alcohol. The Brut IPA flows into the glass in a rosé-gold peach shade and adorns itself with a small crown of snow-white, fine-pored foam. The scent of blooming hibiscus, citrus fresh tropical fruits and caramel-sweet malt turns your head and makes the first sip inevitable. The initial taste is intense and presents a fabulous balance of sweet and sour, paired with the unmistakably dry character of a brut beer. In addition to a floral hibiscus note, gentle aromas of tropical fruits, spicy yeast and caramel malt caress the palate. The hops bring a number of fresh citrus notes into play and also present aromas of pine resin and a strong bitterness. The revolutions are skilfully integrated into the taste profile and are hardly noticeable. The finish is dry, tropical, fruity and hoppy.
