While there are many people who dislike pigeons because of their fleas and perceived hygiene risks, other birds are more popular. We keep budgies and try to teach them to talk. We admire parrots for their colorful plumage and love it when our birdhouse is populated by happily chirping visitors in winter. We feed ducks in the park, are thrilled when we catch a glimpse of a kingfisher darting by at the lake or river, and are delighted when we see a robin or hear a woodpecker tapping. Toucans are also among the bird species that bask in the light of our admiration.
The feathered companions are characterized by their distinctive beak and are at home in Brazil, among other places. The founder of the Novo Brazil brewery is no longer at home there, but he comes from there and has simply taken the Brazilian lifestyle with him to his new home. The toucan reminds him of Brazil and has therefore become the logo of his brewery.
The stylized bird with the large beak in bright orange can be found on all beers and is emblazoned in a geometric design on the brewery’s gray T-shirts.
