On a scale from mild to hop explosion, this delicious Imperial IPA is clearly on the hoppier side. With 2late, the brewers at BrewFist have created a powerful beer that will not only blow you away with the rich 9.5% alcohol but also with the sheer amount of hops.
The motivation and inspiration for this aroma-intensive creation is the pure and all-encompassing love of hops. The makers of beer are so enthusiastic about the green gold that they wanted to create a hoppy memorial for it. Mission accomplished: 2late is an India Pale Ale that is all about the hops. The varieties Chinook, Columbus, Centennial, Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin were selected to represent the good taste and importance of all hops.
2late appears in a warm gold tone in the glass and attracts with an airy, white head of foam that presents a classic IPA bouquet in the nose: tangy citrus notes meet spicy pine resin and light malt. In terms of taste, the IPA also sticks to the traditional palette of fine IPA notes. Soft honey combines with delicate caramel, freshly cut herbs and hints of tropical fruits to create a delicious mixture. The alcohol is cleverly integrated into the taste. An elegant bitterness complements the aromas and ends the beer enjoyment with a round, not too violent note.
