A wild Irish party in beery form.
The Irish word Seisiún stands for an old tradition in Ireland: a large number of musicians meet and celebrate Irish music culture in a large community. There is dancing, singing, music and of course drinking. One plays the sounds of a well-known folk song and everyone joins in. Nowadays these sessions mostly take place in pubs and bars. A couple of musicians bring their instruments with them and create a good atmosphere with rousing Irish classics. Everyone who knows the lyrics sings along, the rest enjoy the atmosphere with a cold beer.
The Irish brewery Brehon has dedicated a beer to this beautiful tradition that not only bears the appropriate name, but also makes a wonderful companion for the next Seisiún. The relaxed, light Session Pale Ale pleases with tangy citrus notes and an exotic serving of passion fruit and mango. With 3.5% alcohol, Saisiún is a real lightweight and guarantees that you will still be able to read the text after two or three bottles. A fine bitterness accompanies the cheerful, fresh fruit bustle and makes the Session Pale Ale a real treat for every occasion.
It doesn’t matter whether you sing traditional Franconian, Swabian or Irish songs, Saisiún definitely tastes good!
