Some beers arise from a fixed idea and are put into practice within a very short time. Others accompany the brewer for quite a while before getting down to business and require a fair amount of attention and dedication. The Orator from Rye River definitely belongs in the latter category. The powerful rye double bock was made from a handpicked selection of the finest types of grain and brings out the flavor spectrum of each individual. German Munich delivers a smooth sweetness and notes of freshly baked bread, while the Viennese and rye malt bring pithy notes and a nice full-bodiedness to the beer. The final touch is then given to the brew in the course of cask aging. The team spent a long time looking for the perfect housing for their beer and only when they found the right rye whiskey casks did they start brewing. The brew matured in the barrels for half a year and owes its cedar, apple, spice and tobacco notes to them.
The work of art bears the name The Orator and whispers delicious secrets in our ears with complex depths of taste, full-bodied aromas and a rich 10.0% alcohol content. If you are looking for a special beer to share and drink together, the Orator is the right choice!
