伽羅 -Kyara-
The Japanese term Kyara stands for the color of tiger's eye: a deep brown that has red reflections and changes to brown in all facets when the light hits it. Appropriate for the beer that bears exactly this name. COEDO's Kyara is a deep brown India Pale Lager with a delicate lace edge of fine, white foam.
To create the unique taste of this beer, the brewers brought out the big guns: six different malts were brewed. Yeasts that are especially suitable for lagers support the aromas optimally. When poured, Kyara exudes highly aromatic hop scents that carry notes of white grapes and sharp citrus fruit. On the palate, the play of aromas presents itself in a clear, crisp bitterness, which is balanced by the calming power of the various malts. The white grape pairs with the fresh citrus notes and a touch of sweet pineapple, white peach and a touch of freshly baked cookies join in. The medium-bodied body creates a cleverly balanced, round beer that we like excellently.
Kyara is a complex, multi-layered beer that is still light-footed and drinkable. A masterful IPL that has rightly won numerous international awards and accolades.
