The Portuguese brewery Musa describes Born in the IPA as the flagship of their revolution. Of your hop revolution.
The Musa team apparently consists exclusively of enthusiastic hopeads. At least that’s what their hoppy beers say. Every beer a different hop cracker, always to the point and always a real hop fireworks display. The heart of their hop escapades Born in the IPA is no exception: the IPA is brave and loud, just like its American ancestors.
Born in the IPA flows into the glass in a cloudy yellow gold and forms a huge head of foam. A bitter scent of fresh, juicy grapefruit with a hint of passion fruit tickles the nose and tempts you to take the first sip. If you dare to taste it, a refreshing team of citrus fruits, pine needles and tropical fruit will hit the tongue and celebrate a lively party there. Born in the IPA is a well balanced mixture of hoppy fruitiness, down-to-earth malt tones and a lot of beautiful hop bitterness, which shows its best side, especially in the finish. Born in the IPA is fruity, bitter and endlessly hoppy. We think that this IPA is an extremely successful representative of its kind and, thanks to the masterful hop skills of Musa, is ultra drinkable.
Musa recommends exotic cuisine for her IPA. Spicy Indian curry, Thai or Mexican burritos with lots of coriander and fresh chilli are the perfect accompaniments to hops. But the down-to-earth Portuguese cuisine also goes with it.
Born in the IPA definitely has favorite beer potential!
