The Lithuanian brewery Sakiškių alus is best known for its creative, unusual beers. The brewers are extremely willing to experiment and do not shy away from unusual ingredients or unusual beer styles. Their range consists of handcrafted oddballs, all of which stand out for their delicious taste. In any case, we are enthusiastic about everything the Lithuanian boys produce!
Their Coconut Milk Stout is a delicious example of brewer expertise and a prime example of a stout. In a deep black mahogany tone, it flows into the glass and forms a pearly, nut-brown head of foam, which is constantly complemented by the lively carbonic acid. The scent of still warm chocolate cake rises to the nose and combines there with the aroma of roasted coconut flakes with brown sugar. The first sip tastes like a coconut milkshake. Creamy and velvety soft, it spoils the palate. The full-bodied taste of coconut milk is complemented by light roasted aromas of caramel malt and freshly brewed coffee. A subtle note of chocolate brings a nice sweetness into play. The finish is soft and round, so you want to open the next bottle straight away.
This stout is for the sweet tooth among beer drinkers. It tastes like a liquid dessert and, thanks to its creamy sweetness, goes well with chocolate and dark fruit desserts.
