Ari and Frank are a true dream team. They complement each other like a pot and a lid, they look great together, they complement each other harmoniously and bring an incomparable harmony. While Frank forms the stable basis of the relationship, Ari brings life and heart into every situation with her playful nature.

Because we’re not here at the sweetheart, we’re not just introducing you to two lovebirds in love. Ari stands for the hop variety Ariana from Hüll and Frank is the abbreviation for “Fränkisches Lager”. The Bonn brewery Ale-Mania decided to combine these two elements because, in their opinion, the traditional lager from Franconia could use a little hop kick. And which variety would be better than Ariana, which has both a fruity component and brings hints of oak, vanilla and tobacco into the aromatic play?

The refreshing combination is called Ari♥Frank and combines the malty, full-bodied body of the Franconian classic with a generous injection of hops. The malt base was supplemented with some smoked malt and Ariana also brings support in the form of the Hallertauer Mittel Früh variety. The result is a delicately smoky lager with a drinkable character, soft grain notes, herbal elements and a dry fruit kick in a warm honey gold.
