As a Franconian company, the Aufsesser brewery in Rothenbach naturally also offers a cellar beer. The favorite of the Franconians enchants with a subtly balanced taste and a full-bodied character. The tasty brew combines soft notes of malt with gently bitter hops and a hint of spicy yeast. The Aufsesser team combines Pilsner and Munich malt and noble splitter select hops to create an amber-golden masterpiece that stands out for its calmness and round aroma.
Well tempered, the mild creation is the perfect after-work beer and crowns every day with simple enjoyment, but it also tastes great with various dishes. If you want to stay classic, you can serve a hearty roast with a light sauce, dumplings and vegetables with the cellar beer. Hearty snacks with stone oven bread, pickled cheese, sausage with music, Obatztem, smoked ham and pickles also go well with it. However, our favorite way to enjoy Franconian beer is grilled beer. With its strong grain notes and fresh hops, the silky-soft brew fits wonderfully into the aromas of bratwurst, steak and halloumi and complements the grilled delicacies with its balance.
We recommend a pair of freshly grilled bratwurst with marjoram, along with sauerkraut with juniper berries and pieces of apple, a dollop of hot mustard and a caraway roll – culinary heaven on earth!
