Bock beers are beers for special moments. When the weather gets cooler and less friendly again, the Franconian brewers reward you with delicious, full-bodied bock beers. It’s almost as if the wonderful bock beer should compensate you for the gray, dreary November weather.
A beer that can console us over every rainy day, no matter how ugly, is the Schorschbock Ice 20. Thanks to the freezing process, this dark bock is highly aromatic and wonderfully strong. The perfect companion for the German autumn!
When everything outside is grey, wet and monotonous, the Schorschbock Ice 20 is particularly fun. It presents itself in a deep, dark mahogany tone and shimmers wonderfully coppery when light falls on it. A hint of hazelnut-brown foam delights the surface for a few seconds, but then disappears again, leaving room for the wonderful aroma of the beer. Wonderful roasted aromas meet a fine cocoa aroma, soft caramel and the scent of dried red fruits on the nose. A ripe, heavy alcohol note completes the impression. In the taste test, the beer shows its voluminous body and caresses the tongue with sweet, malty aromas. Dried plums, late summer cherries and chocolate-covered raisins pamper the palate. The cornucopia of full-bodied flavor nuances is complemented by a wonderful warmth that comes from the proud 20% alcohol content.
The Schorschbock Ice 20 is another aromatic beer specialty from Schorschbräu and a beer for special times.
