With his Schorschweizen Eisbock 20%, the resourceful master brewer Schorsch Tscheuschner marries two characterful beer styles: He transforms his stately Schorschweizen using cold water into a powerful Eisbock, which captivates with 20% alcohol content and an exquisite taste.
Beer with four to six percent alcohol content can be easily sipped at the end of the day - the Schorschweizen Eisbock, on the other hand, is a brew for special moments. Thanks to its numerous revolutions, the beer is ideal for sharing and invites you to spend an enjoyable moment with your loved ones. In order to get the maximum flavor out of the brew, the master brewer recommends enjoying it at 15 degrees.
The Schorschweizen ICE 20 presents itself in a pretty mahogany brown glass and combines the banana-clove aroma of classic wheat with notes of candied fruit and hints of roasted grain. The initial taste is in the same vein and delights with a culinary poem of banana bread, warm spices, rum-pickled raisins, dried plums and roasted malt. A fiery alcohol note rounds off the taste harmoniously and makes the beer the perfect start or end to a nice dinner: the complex, intense aroma complements hearty dishes wonderfully and tastes particularly good with game. Our favorite: venison goulash in red wine and shallot sauce with porcini mushrooms and hand-scraped spaetzle.
