There is a new example in Tilman’s range of modern classics: The Export completes the round with a malty variety and hoppy sophistication.
As always, Tilman attaches great importance to the quality of its raw materials. The Tettnang hops come from the Lake Constance region, Tango is grown in the Hallertau. And the barley also comes from Germany and is processed into malt in regional production. The fine export is then brewed from these ingredients under the expert hand of Tilman and in the sacred halls of the Gut Forsting brewery in the Rosenheim area. The recipe is based on the traditional Dortmund export, but has been modernized and interpreted.
Tilmans Export flows into the glass in slightly cloudy amber and is adorned with a white crown of airy foam. On the nose, the light beer presents itself with delicate pineapple notes, fruity berry scents, finely roasted malt and a touch of freshly mown grass. The initial taste reveals a drinkable beer with a soft malt base, nice flavor and an extra portion of hops. Notes of sun-ripened grain combine with hints of toasted malt and freshly baked bread. The hops complement the play of aromas with a slight tartness and the juicy aroma of fruity-fresh pineapple.
