News from Nuremberg!
An IPA in the Left Coast aka West Coast style now enriches the range of the Nuremberg Micro-Brewery New Beer Generation. The guys, who actually come from the United States, are real hop heads and brew fine, hoppy delicacies.
The New Beer Generation IPA, NBG for short, flows into the glass in a slightly cloudy, dark amber tone and forms a stately, slightly tinted head of foam. From the creamy, fine-pored foam, a fine hop scent rises to the nose, which smells floral, hoppy and temptingly fruity at the same time. The mango stands out most prominently, which, together with other tropical fruits, creates an olfactory seduction. The initial taste reveals a hop-intensive IPA with a lot of bitterness and refreshing fruit. The carbon dioxide allows the aromas of exotic fruits to dance on the tongue and presents the hops used at their best. Juicy mango, tropical passion fruit and ripe plums caress the palate, a soft bed of malt lies beneath the fresh fruit. The complex body is juicy, fresh, malty and crisply bitter at the same time - just as we expect from a good IPA.
The brewers at NBG combine the best of two worlds: Franconian down-to-earthness and American hop art. Their IPA is hoppy, complex and simply drinkable!
