For this creation, the Munich Brew Mafia team brought their Polish colleagues from the Pivovsky brewery on board. With combined forces and concentrated beer knowledge, the resourceful brewers have brewed a beer that connects countries and breaks borders: 500 Miles is a New England IPA that is crammed to the brim with hops.
We recommend this beer to everyone who wants to approach the hop-intensive world of IPAs, but who shy away from the high bitterness values. 500 Miles presents the full range of hops without being excessively bitter. Instead, NEIPA presents a great range of fruity hop notes, ranging from tart grapefruit to exotic mango and juicy passion fruit to ripe, yellow stone fruits. The bitterness is of course not completely absent, rather it accompanies the fruity-fresh aroma play like a harmonious undertone and does not become intrusive at any time.
With a pleasant 6.0% alcohol content, the NEIPA is definitely one of the palatable candidates among the IPAs.
The creamy fruit bomb is brewed with the hops Mosaic, Ariana and Oktawia and tastes great with cheese dishes of all kinds. Our favorite at 500 Miles are homemade spaetzle with a spicy mix of mountain cheese and cheddar, topped with roasted onions, fresh chives and a generous dollop of sour cream .
