Double Dry Hopped Triple India Pale Ale - If you read the name of this beer through, there can only be one brewery behind it: Sudden Death Brewing.
The freaky brewers from Timmendorfer Strand are top quality hop trainers and are not afraid to use unimaginable amounts of hops for their creations. For their latest work, aptly named Survival of The Thickest, four types of hops were added to the beer at various stages of the brewing process.
The result of this wacky witchcraft is a beer that is not called Triple IPA for nothing: the consistency is similar to a milkshake and the first sip knocks you off your feet with a tidal wave of juicy fruit.
Hazy like no other, Survival of The Thickest flows into the glass and gives off an irresistible scent of exotic fruits, citrus fruits and hops. The initial drink presents a beer that could also be called a “fruit cocktail with a note of hops”. Ultra fresh and fruity notes of mango, pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, lime, lemon and grapefruit caress the palate. A spicy hint of yeast and a clean hops note elegantly round off the juicy interplay of aromas.
Survival of The Thickest from the Bone Hand Series by Sudden Death Brewing is a fruity dream and conjures up the south in your glass.
