To capture this monster and banish it in bottles, the bravest of all Nuremberg craft brewers have come together: With their combined forces, the brewers from Nuremberg and the craft beer manufacturer Eppelein & Friends have tackled six types of hops and turned them into a beast of beer.
BEaST COAST is an Imperial India Pale Ale with a whopping 9.7% alcohol content and an abundance of bitter units. The Oldschool IPA presents you the classic palette of flavors, which range from great fruit aromas to spicy resin components to soft caramel. The beer enjoyment starts with the tempting look: The IPA flows into the glass in a warm copper tone and adorns itself with a white, fragrant head of foam. A hoppy bouquet rises in the nose and tempts you to take the first sip. In the taste test, BEaST COAST scores with a finely tuned round aroma that combines the components of a classic IPA into a harmonious work of art. The malt forms a soft base with sweet caramel notes and hints of roasted grain. The hops give everything and deliver juicy notes of tropical fruits, woody aromas of pine resin and freshly cut herbs and the leading bitterness, which runs like a red thread from the initial taste to the crisp finish. The alcohol is wonderfully integrated into the taste.
