The Weizenbock Vintage 2021 from Blech.Brut is a real passion project for the brewery. Instead of bottling and selling the entire batch of their Weizenbock in 2021, the team ripped off some of it and let it mature over a period of two years. This additional step in the production process required a maximum of patience from the brewers. However, the effort has now been rewarded with a complex, multi-layered and intense aroma. The brew, refined through storage, delivers a strong 7.2% alcohol content and tempts with a densely cloudy golden orange and a fine, creamy head of foam that delights the eye and the palate.
The Weizenbock in the vintage edition captivates with strong malty notes, which are accompanied by a spicy resininess. This variety of aromas is complemented by fruity and hoppy nuances, which work harmoniously with the resinous spice and the soft malt. The combination of fresh, hoppy and robust elements gives the beer a bubbly liveliness that we can’t resist.
Blech.Brut combines the millennia-old brewing culture of their historic homeland with young, fresh ideas and the latest brewing technology. With this creation, the team has proven that courage and patience pay off and that time in the brewing process can create true flavor miracles.
