The Atelier Vrai brewery takes a humorous look at this popular game and the precarious situation in supermarkets at the beginning of the pandemic. Part one of their Pandemic Series is called Discounter Strike and parodies the war-like conditions that prevailed in the country's discount stores during Corona times, when there were bitter fights in the aisles over toilet paper or pasta.
Behind the beer with the provocative name is a New England IPA with a whopping 7.4% alcohol content and a whole range of exquisite ingredients. The fine, densely cloudy drop contains the hop varieties Amarillo, Citra, Comet and Mosaic. This wealth of juicy flavors is countered by a quintet of different types of malt and grain; In addition, the beer was fermented with a mixture of Vermont yeast and English cultures.
