Even if the Pils sometimes seems a bit pale next to unusual craft beers with grandiose amounts of hops and crazy names, the classic among German beers is still a popular choice. The finely dry beer creation scores with a crisp bitterness, a nice hop profile and a light-footed body with a certain seriousness.
The Autenrieder brewery has dedicated itself to the production of traditional beers and, in addition to seasonal delicacies such as their strong bocks, of course also offers a pilsner. Your variant is prepared with hand-picked hop varieties from Spalt and the Hallertau. The use of cone hops is special: instead of brewing extract or pellets, the brewers use dried cones. The whole flower contains a maximum of aroma and taste, which is reflected one to one in the beer. The Pilsner from Autenrieder is an elegant representative of its style and impresses with a delicate bitterness, sparkling freshness, a slender stature and a dry character.
Incidentally, the Autenrieder Pils was one of the first of its kind in Swabia. The brewery was already producing its fine pilsner in the 1920s and brought the tart beer enjoyment to its compatriots. The fine Pilsner-style drop is still brewed according to the traditional and tried-and-tested recipe from back then.
