The Engel beer manufacturer offers a wide range of down-to-earth beers. The award-winning family brewery celebrates its roots with craft, flavorful and traditional beers made with handpicked ingredients. Many beers consist of raw materials that are grown in controlled organic agriculture.
This applies, for example, to the hops and barley malt in the fine Kellerpils: The classic German brewing art is brewed according to the strict specifications of the Bavarian Purity Law and both the grain and the hops come from organic farms. In addition to its excellent ingredients, the Kellerpils impresses with its strong bitterness and the tart, tangy and refreshing character.
The Kellerpils from Engel flows into the glass in a naturally cloudy amber tone and completes its attractive appearance with an impressive head of foam. A delicious scent of green hops and sun-ripened citrus peel rises from the fluffy, stable splendor and tempts you to take the first sip. The first sip reveals a slender body. A round note of malt begins and settles on the tongue with fine notes of oven-fresh bread, creamy honey and gently roasted grain. The hops follow closely and, in addition to harmonious notes of citrus fruits and summer flowers, deliver a crisp bitterness and a nice tartness.
