Going on holiday is wonderful: you discover foreign cultures, try the culinary specialties of distant countries, lie on snow-white dream beaches, stray through the winding streets of historic city centers, go on hikes through unknown landscapes, let the sun shine on your nose, listen other languages and experience a piece of everyday life in a place other than home. The only thing we sometimes miss when we are far away is a hearty beer. You can sample decent brews almost anywhere in Europe, but outside of the Old World, it’s getting harder. Asian beers, for example, are often very light-footed and have little in common with hearty Franconian creations. Luckily there are breweries that share their fine beers with the world.
Two Bamberg breweries are among these: Selected specimens from the Schlenkerla brewery range are available even in the smallest supermarket in Asia, and the same applies to the beer from the Bamberg specialty brewery Kaiserdom. The latter specializes in export and sells its brews almost everywhere.
So if you want to enjoy a crisp Pils with elegant bitterness, fine tartness and sparkling hops, you don’t even have to be in Bavaria or the Czech Republic. The award-winning Pilsner from Kaiserdom brings beer enjoyment to every corner of the planet.
