In the growing variety of different beer styles that a brewery can have in its range, the classic lager cannot be missing. The craft beer movement has brought an unprecedented range of brews to the international beer market and it seems as if new ones are being added every day. We appreciate modern interpretations of tried-and-tested brews and are thrilled when brewers develop brand new variations of IPAs etc., but sometimes it just has to be a lager.
Innovation and experimentation are part of the Innis & Gunn brewery’s bread and butter, but the Scottish team has also recognized the importance of traditional classics and has therefore developed a lager. Their creation is a full-bodied, powerful representative of the category and has already won several awards for the brewery. Her interpretation is brewed with oat flakes and therefore flows particularly soft and velvety down the throat. The hop varieties Super Styrian and Styrian Goldings are responsible for the tangy and finely sour citrus note. They also provide a clear bitterness that goes wonderfully with the full-bodied grain. A mild 4.6% alcohol content and a classic, shiny golden look round off the beer enjoyment perfectly.
If you are looking for a drinkable, uncomplicated and full-bodied lager, you should give the lager beer from Innis & Gunn a chance!
